The speakers were insightful and engaging, and delegates returned to work armed with best practices and new strategies to try in their workplaces — but don’t just take our word for it. These recaps will give you a glimpse of what you may have missed if you were unable to come to this event.

Words of Wisdom from Prolifiq and App Data Room

In “Patient Outcomes: Wellness as a Service,” Prolifiq Software’s President/CEO and conference co-chair Jeff Gaus touched on two reoccurring themes of the event. The first was the need for companies and marketers to become part of the customer journey and engage with the customer, and the second was the idea that value creation and capture can deliver better patient outcomes. The idea of Wellness as a Service ties into both of these concepts. Gaus also said that the conference was “arguably the biggest and best exchange of ideas in the medical devices marketing community (so far)” — thanks, Jeff!

In “Recap: How to Leverage Mobile as an Extension of Sales & Marketing,” App Data Room’s Matt Greener gave a summation of Leah Noaeill and Adam Luckeroth’s session. Specifically, Greener focused on Noaeill’s explanation of the difficulties marketers encounter in the “Wild West of Marketing Content” — and how mobile apps can solve problems and organize information to better support sales teams and companies as a whole. Noaeill provided a real-life example, telling delegates about Hill-Rom’s own struggle, and eventual success, in this area.
