Understanding the Patient’s Journey at the Disease Awareness Campaigns Forum

An effective disease awareness campaign requires a deep understanding of the patient’s journey. Understanding how patients and healthcare professionals communicate about a disease state is crucial to develop educational and informative messaging for a campaign. To inform disease state knowledge gaps, it is also vital that healthcare professionals have the latest, most accurate information available regarding a disease state, and understand how to speak with their patients about this data.

The Disease Awareness Campaigns Forum, taking place April 4–5, 2018 in Philadelphia, is the industry’s only event dedicated to strategies for building educational disease awareness campaigns. Download the agenda here to review the sessions and experts who are speaking at this event.

Lisa Spiess–Yanez, Vice President of Marketing at UNITED THERAPEUTICS, will present a case study about how unbranded conversations lead to improved disease education and HCP engagement. She will explore platforms developed to facilitate constructive discussions between patients and physicians and ways this has influenced elevated disease and treatment education.
